By popular demand, Modern Robot now brings to you the original vampire movie — Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.

Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” was only 25 years old in 1922, when this film was premiered and Noferatu is an unauthorized adaptation of the novel. After a lawsuit, the movie was ordered to be destroyed, but various and variously complete copies floated around until 1994, when it was thouroughly restored from five surviving prints.

It’s a cult classic, it’s a critical classic, and every vampire movie owes something to it.

And so, we’re bringing Nosferatu to you in its entirety! If you’re new to Modern Robot, that means we’re going to be performing a live soundtrack to the movie, improvised before your very eyes.
