Performed on The Martha Bassett Show in 2021, a duo of flat-picked guitar and joined by by Pat Lawrence on bass. A Chairy Tale is the story of a recalcitrant chair and the man trying to sit on it.
Satellites
Performed at etc., Greensboro’s DIY community space. A solo show using Hammon organ sounds, Roland 808 samples on a SPD-SX sampling pad, and looper pedal. Video of the sun, moon, and beyond.
Universe
A solo show last performed at Greeensboro’s On the One January, 2020. Hammond Porta-B accompanying the 1960 space documentary Universe.
The Hayseed & One Week
A solo show for two classic silent films: Roscoe Arbuckle’s The Hayseed (1919) and Buster Keaton’s first released two-reeler comedy, One Week (1920). Performed in 2018 as a four-night run at Cafe Europa, overlooking LeBauer Park.
Hayseed, performed on ukulele, was also a popup show at the 2018 Orlando Fringe.
Night of the Living Dead
Music for George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead. With a great deal of editing, the film retained its original dialog while gaining a tragic score on electric guitar and drums.
In 2017 — 5 nights at the Orlando Fringe, 24 nights at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and solo at FEARnyc.
In 2018 — Raleigh, Southern Pines, and Winston-Salem.
At the Crossroads
Music for F.W. Murnau’s 1926 silent film, Faust. Filled with elaborate and expensive effects, accompanied by a sweeping score on guitar and drums.
In 2015 — Edinburgh Festival Fringe for 11 performances, and a 5-star review.
In 2016 — 7 performances at the Orlando Fringe, 5 performances at the New York International Fringe Festival (Overall Excellence Award for Music Composition), and 4 performances at the The San Francisco Fringe Festival (Best of the Fringe).
